I’ve been playing this game non-stop for the last 2 weeks. it’s a massive hit, so I understand why people are cloning the game. but I also understand the anger the developers are feeling. creating something is hard, and it’s even harder when the end product is so… simple. but that’s the beauty of this game, it’s so simple, but as you will see in the development emails the creators of the game released the process is lengthy and full of details. they even have a discussion on how the blocks should “hug”.

Most of the times font choice is an afterthought and solutions tend to come with more added features. This is exactly the case of email, for the last 30 years email clients have been focusing on features that help you manage your inbox. But what if instead of focusing on features we use typography to make emails more readable instead? If it’s easier to read then it’s easier to manage, right? This is exactly what 1910 Design & Communication set out to investigate.

It’s a proposal to build an email client with readability in mind rather than feature set.
